Keeping a clean and cool palette for today’s outfit with white, black, and polished silver. Even though the items are largely colorless, the high shine of the metallic pumps serves as a “pop”, which we usually use a bright color to achieve.

These metallic pumps have been great for getting me to pull out my silver jewelry again. After wearing so much gold in recent months, silver feels cool and icy…perfect for warmer months.

    1. Thanks Amber! Since they arrived, I’ve already put together a few outfits with them and they’re proving to be very versatile. I’m not sure how to wear gold jewelry with them yet, but they give me a reason to finally pull my silver jewelry out. I imagine they’ll also be great for holiday parties this winter.

Those BB’s are gorgeous! I think I might like those a little more than my Kate’s. The color is metallic but muted, so you probably won’t feel like you have disco balls on your feet.

  1. Love the outfit, Kelly. You make the half-tuck look actually elegant! I don’t like a lot of the metallic shoes that are out there, but I like these, because of the classic shape and because they truly look like metal (rather than metallic leather)–almost like jewelry for the feet! Nice to see the San Diego backgrounds in your photos sometimes.

    1. Thank you Nancy! The half-tuck is nice because it lets me tuck-in shirts without looking goofy. My body type is pretty averse to shirt tucking in most situations. Jewelry for the feet…nice analogy!

Very very nice shoes Kelly! I never thought of you as a shoe fanatic… but I think you are turning into one!

I really like that you’ve figured out your style, but are always willing to try to change it up every once in a while. I love seeing what you come up with next!
