Happy Wednesday! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving (and subsequent holiday shopping weekend)! Mine was great, and smack dab in the middle of what feels like a marathon of life changes. In the span of the last few weeks, we finalized wedding plans, got married, took a mini honeymoon road-trip, home-hunted in the San Francisco Bay Area, enjoyed Thanksgiving with our families, and are now packing and prepping to move. Phew! I’m happy to finally have a moment to put a blog post together!
Cashmere, like Paris, is always a good idea (unless of course you are allergic to either, in which case, my heart goes out to you). For that reason, I’m always on the lookout for petite or petite-friendly cashmere to add to the collection. Luckily, the petites at Nordstrom are quickly becoming a go-to when it comes to petite basics (like this silk Equipment look-alike and these leather shorts). The sweater I’m wearing here is cashmere, in petite sizing, and comes in a bevy of colors from the Nordstrom brand, Halogen. It’s thin enough for easy layering, but thick enough so that it’s not see-through (unlike some other sweater options I’ve tried this season). It also comes in a crewneck version and in prints.
