I owe Elle for putting this skirt on my radar a few months ago, and the recent heat wave for finally prompting me to try it out. The perfect white skirt has been eluding me for some time. I wanted it to be a fairly bright white (as opposed to cream), full silhouette, pocketed, and non-see-through. My reservations about this skirt were 1) it has a paper-bag waist, (a gathered detail at the waist that has historically not been particularly flattering on me), and, 2) it’s not lined. What I discovered after trying it out was the paper-bag waist is so daintily done that it’s not unflattering on my figure, and actually serves as a lip to hold waist belts in place (bonus!). It’s also pleated in such a way, and with such thick fabric, that the layers of fabric double up, keeping it from being see-through. Overall, it’s a nice little skirt with a waffled texture and playful silhouette, and it’s just starting to hit the sales, so keep an eye out for it if you’re looking for a white summer skirt.

I have a weakness for all things white, and that is a gorgeous skirt!
I like the funky changes on your website. They’re new, correct? Very nice.
Love it! Great white and combo.
