Popping Neutrals – Cognac and Black

Aquazzura Boots and Jerome Dreyfuss Victor

Popping neutrals is a great way to layer in fall and winter. Cold weather clothing is expensive (coats, boots, etc) so we tend to buy them in more versatile darks and neutrals. Pop other neutrals off these items by mixing lights with darks. Some examples include black with cognac, white with dark grey, or dark brown with light grey.
