I’m so excited to partner with T.J.Maxx on this post because it’s such a pleasure to help spread the news that petites have come to tjmaxx.com!

I don’t know a single person who doesn’t love T.J.Maxx. It has single-handedly furnished entire rooms, saves the day when I need a last minute gift, introduced me to new brands, and added some really great pieces to my wardrobe (one of my favorite silk camisoles is a treasure unearthed from a local T.J.Maxx Runway department last year). The associates at our local store’s jewelry counter know my mom by name, so surely the love of T.J.Maxx runs in the family.

Tjmaxx.com is no different, and my online shopping cart is brimming full of treasures there too. And now there’s one more reason to love tjmaxx.com…petites! Just launched in early April, the petite offering is available exclusively at tjmaxx.com with selections from a diverse range of styles and brands you’ve grown to love and expect from the retailer. I saw some petite well-known designer denim on there the first time I popped in, but I see some lucky petites already snatched those up! Things can move quickly!

I eagerly picked up a few things at launch, including this petite off-the-shoulder blouse, which is a style I’ve been curious to try and couldn’t pass up at that price. Done in a light blue shirting fabric and clean silhouette, I credit the petite sizing for actually fitting correctly and snuggly on my narrow shoulders (I’m wearing size PP). Although I must say, I know this is the silhouette of the season, but you have to be quite demure to wear it. One large arm movement in the wrong direction and you’re left coyly adjusting everything around.

Another cute piece I picked up was this lace blouse, which is a fun layering piece that adds feminine texture to my favorite of outfits…jeans and a blazer (I’m wearing size PP). I have it front-tucked here, but it’s longer with a swingy, almost peplum silhouette that would look great paired with slimmer bottoms than I’m wearing here. Speaking of bottoms, these boyfriend jeans are not petite, but a designer denim find I’ve been wanting to try (I’m wearing size 23).

Check back often because items are always getting stocked. For example, since this post, tjmaxx.com has already added items I didn’t see the first time around, like this petite tunic, tie-cuff button-down, and moto jacket.

Protip: rest easy because you can always make returns to your local T.J.Maxx store for free.

Thank you to T.J.Maxx for sponsoring this post, and be sure to check out the new petite offerings!

Love your style! Unfortunately, the links to TJMaxx won’t work for me? I’ve also tried typing the website directly into Chrome and Safari with no luck :(

    1. Hi Angie! Super weird! I just tested all the links and everything is working on my end so I’m not sure what’s going on. Do you have ad blockers on your browsers? Sometimes they mess with stuff they shouldn’t. Try disabling it if you do and see if that helps. Otherwise, try this link straight to their petites without my custom url to see if that works for you: http://tjmaxx.tjx.com/store/shop/women-women-petites/_/N-3829426473?mm=women%3Af%3A+%3A2%3Apetites%3Aspecial+sizes

Great post as always Kelly! The off the shoulder top looks great on you – not a style I’ve seen on you before I don’t think..but I like it!

Hi Kelly! Random question – I ordered a pair of Rag & Bone Margot Booties and they just arrived today. I absolutely love them! Just wondering how I should care for the leather? Did you use a shoe spray on them to protect them from the weather? Thank you!

    1. Hi Amanda! Congrats on your Margot’s! Both of mine are suede, so I sprayed them with a suede protector (http://amzn.to/2pflMDU) before wearing. I avoid wearing the grey ones in the rain for fear of water spots, but have worn the black suede in some pretty decent rain storms and they came out fine. I haven’t cleaned or resprayed them since and it’s been almost two years, so they’re holding up great!

I have a couple off the shoulder tops like that and you are so right, if they are too large it’s a no-go for us narrow shouldered gals! But I love it on you. It pairs especially nicely with white denim and shorts. :)
