Pinstripe Skirt

This is an outfit I wore to a daytime wedding a few weeks ago, and I wanted to get it up while this skirt is still available in all sizes. It’s really a great piece for a few reasons. The fabric is thick, fully lined, and feels like a cotton/linen blend, although it is not. It has two nicely styled side pockets, a removable self-tie belt, and belt loops which is great if you prefer to use your own belts with it for a different look. Probably my favorite part about it is that it has a full length button placket so you can get creative with the styling. I intend to try it unbuttoned at the bottom and pinned back, like a high slit skirt.

I like the longer length on this one, but if you prefer shorter, Banana Republic just released a similar style, with interesting structure but no button placket. There’s also a great pinstripe shirt dress I’m considering.

You look great. I actually bought this skirt from AT and returned it. It felt like “too much” on me… guess I don’t like the longer length. The similar BR style looks like it might work, though. Thanks for the tip.
