This cobalt blue suede jacket has been on repeat ever since it arrived late last week. The color is gorgeous, and it looks an uncanny amount like way, way more expensive suede moto jackets out in stores right now *cough*Veda*cough*. Can you believe it clocks in at under $200?! It also comes in a very pretty burgundy, but I felt the blue would be a little more versatile.
I’m pleasantly surprised by the quality of the suede (it’s a nice heavy jacket with a soft feel to the leather) and details (the belt is removable, and each belt loop has a working snap!) for the price. The petite-friendly sizing is just icing on the cake. If you’re in the market for a statement piece for spring & summer, you may want to give this one a look.
UPDATE: this jacket now comes in a natural brown for those of you who are neutral lovers. ;)
For reference, the approximate measurements of size xs (zipped & laid flat) are below, and my measurements can be found here.

Love the style and the color and that’s a great price point! Looks beautiful on you!
Thank you Amanda! =)
Love the way you styled this jacket- I’ve also been eyeing it in burgundy ever since I saw it on Wendy’s Lookbook! Crossing my fingers that it goes on sale cause it seems like the perfect pop of color/texture
Thank you! Yes, Wendy looks great in the burgundy! It made choosing a color really hard. =P
Wow, Kelly! The jacket in blue is absolutely stunning! The burgundy is really nice, but the blue is just so unique-looking. You tempt me so hard to get one for myself!
Thank you Cher! I think the xs would fit you really nice. The shade of blue is also one of my favorites because it’s that cobalty navy that tends to be flattering on so many people!
The suede jacket sounds like an amazing buy as the quality is very good! Thanks for sharing this petite-friendly design!

Hi Kelly,
I really enjoy visiting you -very informative, thank you!
I was looking at your silk shirt review, and wondering if you’ve tried silk from Everlane. https://www.everlane.com/collections/womens-tops
They don’t offer petite size, but the prices are so good that I’m looking at their sleeveless tops for my 5′ 1″ frame. Any information is greatly appreciated.
Hi Gardenkeeper! I’ve tried the long sleeved collared silks from Everlane and found them to run pretty oversized. The problem with Everlane in general for petites is they really like super relaxed fits, which is great, but tends to result in large arm holes, so I’d be worried you’d get side-boob/bra peekage. I haven’t officially tried their sleeveless silks, so I can’t say for sure though. I will say their silks feel very nice, and luckily their return process is very easy. =)
Love love love this! The navy jacket is just perfect on you. Plus that shirt seems like it’d be super versatile in lots of outfits. Great work!
Yes! Another one! I saw this great red moto jacket over at KylenEveryWear (she’s another petite fashion blogger). Glad we finally have some unaltered options out there for us outerwear-loving small ladies! I like the look with the destroyed denim and the shoes. There’s something a little trendy and a little edgy all rolled into one.
