I’ve always liked the color blue, but when I was a kid, I was afraid to wear too much of it. I thought because I was so short, the other kids would call me a smurf! I don’t think it ever happened, but it was this strange fear I had. Well, my childhood fashion nightmare is here, because I just realized I am literally a smurf in this outfit. Ha! It’s really the white on top and bottom that does it. But I just can’t help it because I’m so enamored with pairing these white shoes and hat together. Every outfit I try on just looks so good with them!

The bag helps break the smurfiness up a bit. If it makes you feel any better, I wouldn’t have made the connection myself unless you told me. I’m guessing the smurf factor might be higher with white pants?

It’s the fashion bookends! It’s not smurf-like at all, but I think the reference is clever. I have been afraid to own a blue shirt because I wear jeans a lot, but I see now it can work nicely. I LOVE that scarf, especially against the blue.

How simple and chic :) I’ll try that tomorrow when I dress for school. That hat is georgeous – just lovely. Hugs –Anu from Finland.
