Hi everyone! With the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale finally going live for everyone, I’ve summed up my shopping strategy for you today. Enjoy!
THINGS YOU NEED TO BUY ANYWAY
Might as well get it for a dealI like to scour the beauty section for makeup and skincare favorites I normally buy anyway, pick up fun new beauty tools, and stock up on bras & undies.
Replenish your skin care & makeup empties:
Update your beauty tools…
You know you’ve been waiting for this sale to buy new undies…
REPLENISH YOUR GIFTING STOCKPILE
Stock up on gifts so you always have something ready for birthdays, host/hostess gifting, and as much as I hate to say it, Christmas will be here in no time:
DESIGNER THAT USUALLY DOESN’T MAKE IT TO SALE
Especially if you're a popular size...Good designer items usually sell out at full price in all the best sizes before they ever make it to sale season. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is a great opportunity to snag those hard to find sizes at sale prices.
NORDSTROM BRANDS IN BETTER FABRICS
I usually shop the smaller Nordstrom brands last because for the most part, it’s a bunch of uninspiring basics in not-so-great fabrics that usually make it to sale season in pretty good size runs anyway. However…if you scour for items made in better fabrics and fashion forward designs, you can find some real gems in special sizes. My favorites are those in cashmere and leather.
This post is exactly what I need to get myself organized… for next year ;) A few questions for you to get your suggestion/advice?? What about basics items like Tees? Halogen U neck tees are so affordable and comfy. Work out /gym clothes, shoes, socks? Love Zellas. Home items like throws for yourself? Any suggestions about where these would be categorized under? Thank you!
