Stripes & Leather

Gotta get my leather pant wears in now before the weather warms up! If you’ve ever been afraid to invest in a pair of leather pants (as I was) due to fears of stretching and bagging out at the knees, I’m happy to say I’m really impressed with this pair! After months of occasional wear, these haven’t bagged out at all, and after some initial snugness, have molded into a comfy, but still close-fitting fit. These have mostly gone on sale, so sizes are hard to come by, but they are still available in a lot of small sizes (including the size I’m wearing, 23) in a lighter “fawn” color. If you’re able to pay full price, size 23 is still available in black on the Current/Elliott site.

Stripe tops are never a bad idea, and this one has been on my radar for a while now. It goes off and on promo every so often, and the last time it did I decided to pick it up and see what it’s all about. I was intrigued by it’s drapey fabric (light weave 100% cotton), nice stripe print, 3/4 sleeves (fits closer to bracelet length on me), chest pocket, and split uneven hem. I usually avoid drop shoulder styles, but thought it might work in this stripe print. It’s so comfy, I’ve been reaching for it repeatedly since it arrived.
