Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Did you remember to wear green today? I usually end up wearing one of those shades of green that seems open to interpretation of what “green” really is. So, aside from the day I seek out a good draft pint of Guinness, St. Patrick’s Day is also the day I spend defending the shade of green I’m wearing. =P
On another note, J.Crew has been doing some great sale promos lately…like right now! I wanted to get this tweed J.Crew jacket up on the blog because it’s currently an extra 50% off with code EXTRA40 (sale items are an extra 40% off, with select items at 50% off). I snagged this jacket during their last promo, and it definitely runs short and small. I’m wearing a regular size 00, and it fits much more like a petite. I also like the U-neckline because it plays well with tie-neck blouses, necklaces, and other neckline details. Just beware that it’s currently final sale…in fact, be mindful of final sale items in general if you decide to shop the promo, because J.Crew’s sale section is rife with them at the moment.
Have a safe and happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Kelly, love your blog & your style – have to restrain myself from buying most of the items you post, but please don’t call St Patricks day St Patty’s day! No Irish person ever calls it that! Paddy’s day yes but not patty! Happy St Patrick’s day from Galway, Ireland :-)
You’re in Galway? How wonderful! I visited Galway in college (my good friend was studying abroad there) and had the most wonderful time! Such fond memories. =)
Ahhh! So that’s the correct spelling! I remember hearing one was right and one was wrong (probably last St. Patrick’s Day) but couldn’t for the life of me remember which it was. I went on Wikipedia last night to try and figure it out, and the articles it referenced at the bottom called it Patty so I figured that was it, because newspaper articles are never wrong, right? ;) I’ll fix it.
Very chic! I like all accessories,
Yep I’m from county Galway, I live about 30 miles outside Galway City. Delighted to hear you enjoyed Galway! The weather is slightly different to what you are used to though ;-) Let me know if there is anything I can send you that you liked while you were here! The only thing we are missing is petite clothing – I’m waiting for a box to arrive from US this week – I bought a few bits in the sales.
The olive color of your blouse really suits you! lol, I tend to wear teal-ish green on St. Patty’s and have to defend that as being green :)
Oh, I meant Paddy’s (per prior comments, haha)
Great look!
