Something I’ve been searching for these last few months is the perfect black statement necklace (I think I’ve found it, but I’m hoping to catch it with a coupon code). Why black specifically, you ask? Because they do this great thing where they balance out something that all of us have, and if you’re like me, probably wear pretty often…black shoes.
Capping an outfit with the same color at both ends, whether it be with a necklace, or even a peek of an under-layer (such as the collar of a collared shirt) just rounds off an outfit in a really pleasing and balanced way. I’ve found my wardrobe lacking for want of a black statement necklace, which I hope to remedy soon.
I’ve been coveting black jewelry in general. I think it’s because I’ve been wearing my black wraparound watch a lot lately. I really want to find a great pair of black earrings and a black ring, maybe something that can added to a stack of other rings for a little mix and match.
Me too! I’ve been wearing a black statement ring by Tacori (made in America btw ;) ) and really loving it. I used to buy jewelry with the intention to give outfits a pop of color, but now I love how cool and beautiful black stones are. Really excited to grow my collection.
