An evening at Stone Brewery in San Diego was a great excuse to bust out this clutch (my first ever!) by Clare Vivier. I’ve never cared about clutches, instead convincing myself shoulder straps were necessary to free up hands for easier double-fisting of pint glasses (I kid, I kid…kinda). My first thought after placing a careful selection of items inside and getting ready to walk out the door was, “my shoulder feels so light and free!”
Because I could stuff shoulder bags so full of unneeded crap (the boyfriend is also known to hand me things to “just put in your purse”, adding to the heft), my shoulder sometimes aches and my posture definitely becomes lopsided. The clutch kept my pack-ratting to a minimum, and no bothersome straps dug into my shoulder…well, color me converted!
This handbag (and this bracelet) are testaments to my latest intense craving…haircalf leopard print. It started with a search for the perfect pair of haircalf leopard print pumps (still looking!), and the next thing I knew I had picked up this clutch, this bracelet, and a belt.

Love it!
I love the leopard clutch. Clutches/Crossbody bags are my favorites, they ease up the my shoulders and doesn’t make me look lopsided.
I still sort of resist the call of the clutch. I like having my hands free!!
Your clutch is gorgeous!
my guy does the same thing! i usually have nothing in my bag but somehow his wallet, keys, cell phone and sunglasses always end up in my bag too.
Seriously, my boyfriend always gives me his sunglasses, keys, wallet, etc when I carry a bag. Little clutches and crossbody’s are fab to eliminate that problem ;) And i’m so feeling leopard recently as well. Gorge!
I am seriously in love with your clutch…it is simply amazing

I found my perfect pair of calf hair leopard pumps in an Ivanka Trump model. super comfortable and super stylish!
Ahhh…I think I remember those from a few seasons ago. Those were cute!
Every time I see that watch (whether on you or others) I think “I need that.” I think it’s about time I get on that haha
I know what you mean! I love my leather band watch, but have been convinced of the versatility of an all gold-tone one, mostly thanks to Pinterest! LOL.
Very jealous of your trip to the Stone brewery!! That clutch is great…reminds me of the foldover style that Jean crafted.
Stone is so much fun! Have you ever been? Yes! Jean made a DIY of this exact same clutch after seeing it on Wendy’s Lookbook last year. It got restocked recently, & I snagged it. =)
I have actually never been to a brewery before. Top on my list would be Deschutes or Sierra Nevada. Kona would also be nice because that means I would be in Hawaii. :)
Love love love that clutch!!!

Kelly,
Is that bracelet good for smaller wrists? I have a bit smaller circumference than yours and I’m wondering if it would be too big. I would love to have some leopard in my life! You look so stylish, by the way!=)
If your wrist is smaller than mine, you might not like it. It’s loose on the smallest part of my wrist, but doesn’t go past the base of my hand (as you see in the photos). Because it’s a little loose, it had a tendency to spin upside-down because it’s top heavy. Wearing a watch or other bracelets that keep it in place helps with the spinning and floppyness. I really like it and if you have a Nordstrom near by, it’s worth taking a look at. =)
I love this look! Perfect outfit & perfect clutch. I just found your blog via Pinterest, I’ll be following now.
Keep up the fabulous blogging:)
