Blogiversary & Giveaway

stella-dot-renegade

Last month marked four years since starting Alterations Needed with a nervous click of the publish button, and I want to thank all of you out there who read, comment, tweet, and email. It’s been amazing, so, thank you!

I wanted to offer a little something for you guys, and the item that kept coming to mind was something I personally love and wear nearly every day. The Stella & Dot Renegade bracelet has been on non-stop rotation in my daily wardrobe, and gets tons of compliments all the time. What a perfect item for a little giveaway!

The very kind people at Stella & Dot (who I had the pleasure of meeting in NYC, and can attest to how amazingly sweet they are) were generous enough to send me a gold and silver Renegade bracelet for a giveaway.

Thank you all again for reading, and thank you to Stella & Dot for this amazing giveaway!

Congratulations on four years! I remember stumbling upon your blog around mid-late 2009 by total accident (accident as in being nosy and reading the comments on FrmHeadToToe’s blog and seeing a comment from “PetiteAsianGirl” which led to a click to her blog and from her blog to yours and then of course, to the AN Forum :D)

I started reading some time last year, and have browsed through many of your older entries. Thanks for always producing top notch content (even though I wasn’t always around to read it). Congratulations on this accomplishment, you’ve helped myself and others learn so much about style and how to dress :)

Hi Kelly, this is not related to the give a way. When you tried on the Jcrew school boy jacket during your review, I know that the material is very soft and beautiful; Is the crewcut material feel and look the same? thank you for your help

    1. says: Vicky

I tried on the schoolboy one blazer for women in store, but they do not have crewcut department, so I cannot tell . I like really how the crewcut looks on you thank you so much

    2. Hi Vicky! The two fabrics are not the same. The women’s schoolboy is a felted wool, so it’s softer to the touch. The boy’s blazer is also wool, but it feels more like a traditional men’s blazer and has a crisper texture. Hope that helps!
