The Little Bra Company Open House

Seriously, how pretty is that new sage color? Lucia lace bras.

Last week, The Little Bra Company invited some people over for an open house party, to celebrate the move to their new office/showroom in Downtown Los Angeles. A number of us braved the rain and rush hour traffic to snack on delicious treats, drink eggnog, and of course, be surrounded by pretty TLBC lingerie.

If you’re not familiar with The Little Bra Company, they are the makers of some of the prettiest petite bras you’ll find on the market. The bras have a “petite fit”, so the bands run about one band size smaller than regular lines, and the cups are placed closer together to give petite ladies some extra…umph. =)

Only size A and B cups are currently available, but I got a sneak peak at what’s coming in 2011…size C cups!

See my other posts about The Little Bra Company here and here. I have personally bought and wear the Lucia and Sasha bras in size 30B.

By far the best part about the open house party was I got to spend some time with two of my favorite petite bloggers, Liane from PetiteXXS and Jess from Stylepint! I had met Liane once before, when we did “operation shoe switch” with a pair of Ann Taylor shoes, but it was my first time ever meeting Jess, even though we had been blogging in the same city for over a year before I moved to San Diego!

Emily, the woman behind The Little Bra Company, was a gracious host and even sat for a few pictures with us.

The amazingly knowledgeable Britni gave us a sneak peak into what’s coming next for The Little Bra Company, including a pretty new style, light and dark nude colors in some of TLBC’s best selling styles, swimwear, and my favorite new addition…size C cups!

A big thank you to Emily, Britni, and everyone else at The Little Bra Company for hosting us!

Looks like a beautiful event (I still have yet to try TLBC bras…need to get myself to a store that carries them and getting a fitting in). You ladies look gorgeous!

Ah I knew it… much better quality pictures than mine, that's why I had to work fast! :) I think it's about time I retire my point & shoot, there's just so much more depth with a DSLR.

And thanks again for the "operation shoe switch"! I looooove my porcini pumps, and I never would've gotten my hands on them if it weren't for you! :)

Great review and pictures Kelly! My favorite is definitely seeing all three of you looking so beautiful all together – so fun!

Yea! Three of our fave ladies in one pic..what a hoilday treat!

On that note- If anyone ever comes to Vegas, here's an open invitation to get in touch. I bet Michelle (PetiteFittingRoom) would like that too- although the two of us haven't met yet :P

@Elle – Thanks! They really are pretty, and the fit in the band is the best this 28 band gal has ever found.

@PetiteXXS – Yes! Get a DSLR! Although I did have to use my Photoshop skillz to fix the color and exposure. Glad to hear "Operation shoe switch" was successful. I wish I could fit them! They're so pretty!

@curls-and-pearls – LOL. I like how we're all the same height in that photo! I don't know how I did it, because I'm pretty sure I'm the shortest one of the bunch!

@Abhitoabby – How fun! Vegas meetup! You should post a thread in the AN Forum and see if anyone else is interested.

It looks like you girls had a great time at the opening! I have yet to try on their bras but hopefully I can convince my family to take me to their store when I'm in L.A. over the holidays! Great pictures too, btw. :)

It's so cool to see 3 of the best petite-clothing bloggers together in a frame! haha Sometimes, I'm all skeptical to know if you all petites are really petite or not, because you look so proportionate on your photos :) Thanks for sharing the pictures! Oh, did the LBC say anything about getting a beige or nude-colored Sascha out? I hazily remember reading someone's posting about anticipation of the nude color. eh.

@olyvia – Yes! Nude Sascha is on the horizon, in two shades, light nude and dark nude. I'm excited for that one too. =)
Yeah, photography angles can be very height forgiving, but I assure you, the three of us are all quite tiny…lol.

Lol! I love that you mentioned rush hour! That is definitely brave thing to do!

You all look so pretty! I love your outfits!

I am excited to hear that there will be a C cup! I finally found a bra that fits (30C) from Victoria's Secret, but they did away with the size! :( Would you say the size 30 band fits true to size or smaller? I thought I heard the latter.

  11. says: Alterations Needed

@Michelle – The band size runs 1 size smaller than labeled. I've been measured as a 28 band, and I wear 30 band bras from TLBC. I think the Sascha (strapless) runs a little bigger, and I could have sized one more down, just because I hate loose fitting strapless bras.

Hmmm, question: if the band size runs small, how does that affect the cup size? If I normally wear a 30D (or 28DD), what size would I be in a TLBC bra? Normally, if you have to go up a band size, you go down a cup size, but is that the case with how their bras fit?

  13. says: Alterations Needed

@SugarNikita – Hehe…let's try and convince them! I'm sure the C cups will be very successful…so it only makes sense to keep going bigger!

@SugarNikita – I found the cup to be the same size. I'm a big B/small C and I could fit the B cups that ran a little bigger (Lucia and Sascha). The t-shirt bras I tried ran small in the cup and I was literally spilling out of them.
