Also of note, I’ve received a few emails asking about petite friendly shorts. I haven’t worn shorts in forever, and despite my best efforts, am failing miserably on this short-finding mission (sorry to the ladies who have emailed me about this!). I have ordered this pair (I love the stripes!), and this pair, in size p0 from Armani Exchange, which will be coming soon so I can review. I also tried a few H&M pairs which were pretty awful, (but PAG has found luck) except for a ridiculously short pair that I ended up buying as beachwear. So, since I’m so bad at finding shorts, I want to invite readers to share if they’ve found anything! Share your petite friendly short finds in this AN Forum thread!
Ugh, Gilt Groupe! They do not really accept returns which makes shopping there impossible for a petite, since most things don't fit us! Their return policy is that you can have store credit. Great, so I can rack up 1000s in store credit and hope some day to use it if on the off chance something from your website finally fits me? No thanks.
Also their unsub page has no submit button so you have to figure out how to submit the form using enter instead. WTF?
thesmallone – I know! I'm scared to buy anything off Gilt because then if it doesn't fit, they hold my money hostage until I maybe, hopefully, find something else I like. And I had no idea their unsubscribe page was so difficult. Sneaky, sneaky!
I really want to find some pairs of shorts for summer too… but don't even know where to look. I might revert back into shopping in the girls department if I get desperate enough!
I ordered a pair of Burb boots half a year back on Gilt, and the shaft was so tall it covered my knees. They did have free return shipping (thank goodness, because it was so heavy) but now I have $200 in useless credit!
