Some stuff I ordered from Banana Republic finally arrived, of which I was most excited about the Ruffle Cardigan. I had tried on a size Petite XS in store, and thought, “one more size smaller should work really well!” So I skipped home, used a coupon code, and ordered it online (on sale!).
Hmm…I was a little off about the sizing. Here it is in size Petite XXS:

The torso of this sweater is definitely running wide. Tsk tsk, this is no good. I like my sweaters nice and fitted, so back to the store it goes. Too bad, it had potential to be really cute. Petite Asian Girl had a similar experience with this same sweater in her post here.
I also picked up this sweater in grey, which I scored in maroon a few months ago. I’m keeping this cutie, which you’ll see pop up in an outfit post a little later. Excited? I know I am!
So glad you mentioned this – I had my eye on the same sweater. Incidently, I'm surprised to see you in skinny jeans as you have mentioned how you don't care for them. IMO, your boot cut jeans look longer, leaner and a bit more mature.

This shows how far 5 to 10 lbs go on a petite frame! I thought the PXXS was boxy, but on me it was nowhere near how baggy it is on you.
