I love trench coats, therefore, I love the ultimate classic, Burberry. I pined for them from afar, but had convinced myself they would be too big. Then, the fantastic man in my life gave me a big Burberry box for Christmas last year (thanks babe!), and now I’m hooked. Burberry runs pretty small…and if you buy from a Burberry boutique, the alterations are FREE! Getting my coat altered was a wonderful experience with the luxury brand…

…my J.Crew photos on the same day, with the same boring outfit underneath. =P When this coat was highlighted on Extra Petite, I had to take advantage of the sale J.Crew had going on and give it a try. I love the look of J.Crew coats, and would love to add a few to my wardrobe. I’ve been trying to get my hands on a Burberry petite coat for a while now…but those things sell out fast! Not sold in Burberry boutiques, but only in high end department stores like Nordstrom and Bloomingdales, these things are in short supply, and the smallest sizes usually sell out immediately.
