This post finds me again thinking about combining maximalism and minimalism. A simple outfit of distressed denim, a graphic tee, and menswear blazer is a pared down backdrop for a tough, studded wrap bracelet. It’s a chunky statement piece to wear with minimal accessories and a pushed up sleeve.

This particular bracelet is by a designer whose embellished belts first caught my eye, only to discover her cuffs and wrap bracelets are just as amazing (I also love this super tough one!). Handmade in Los Angeles, Calleen Cordero has some cool, unique pieces that feel special and unique, like you won’t see every woman at the mall wearing the same one.

  • How in the world do you pull off the half-tucked-half-untucked look so effortlessly?! Jean over at extrapetite.com does so also and I never figured it out myself as it always ends up looking unkempt, or if I do manage to make it look decent, I’ll take two steps and the movement will untuck it and everything ends up looking messy. Any tips???
