What an amazing week! I now see why New York is called the city that never sleeps…I feel like I haven’t slept in days. Catching up with old friends and making new ones has been such a blast. And being in town during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week has me giddy with each glimpse of fashion royalty. So far I’ve said hello to Simon Doonan, made a fool of myself in front of Scott Schuman, and snapped photos of Bill Cunningham and Miroslava Duma. Eek!
By far, the best item I brought with me to New York have been these smoking slippers. I had visions of walking around New York in glamorous heels and cute blazers…silly me. Instead, pretty much every day I’ve worn shorts, these flats, and a terrible frizzy new hairdo thanks to the east coast humidity.
