Weekend Guide – 8/26/11

Shop:

Coming in the mail…

Banana Republic – 30% off (35% off if you use a Gap/Old Navy/BR card) women’s styles with code BRSAVE. My picks are this very cute Camille Jacket, that looks really fitted on the model, which bodes well for petites, and the Silk Camp Shirt which I’m wearing here.

Ann Taylor – 40% off one full-priced item with code FALL40. Buy one full-priced item, get one 50% off with code FALLBOGO. Extra 50% off sale items. Free shipping on $150 or more. Ann Taylor has been running small in the bust on some styles this season, so I’m curious to try their button down (I’m on a button down kick these days).

LOFT – 25% off full-priced purchases, and free shipping on $125 or more.

i was wondering if it was just me thinking AT was running small in the bust!!  they have some cute button down styles and colors that i would definitely try if they were made a little curvier!! (im on a button down kick as well!)

  • I am TOTALLY going for the Camille jacket.  In fact, I just ordered it after returning those hideously huge Mad Men “cigarette” pants.  The jacket wasn’t available at the store I went to, but was online.

I forgot about the ice trick to stretch shoes. I have a pair that I love but was have put in the Sally Ann pile. Thank you for including it in your post.

  • I went to BR to do a return and saw the silk camp shirt you reviewed. You were very right about the white being sheer. I thought it would be somehwat do-able, but instead it was almost completely see through. I also thought it would be a lovely cream, instead it was a stark white. The color you got was definitely the winner…I only wish they had a bigger color selection like J.Crew’s version of that top!

  • the BR jacket looks very nice….
