Ahhh…who doesn’t love three-day weekends? I popped out of bed feeling refreshed today…even my hair looks perky! I kept it in the color family, wearing nothing but reds and purples. Chanel didn’t come to work with me, but I brought her out for the photos because she goes so well.

This blouse and necklace combination was a happy accident. When I put the blouse on my dress form to take photos last weekend, the dress form was already wearing this necklace. It was a perfect match!
I was having a very non-photogenic day for this photo shoot. Nothing was working…not my hair, not the lighting, and every pose I made just looked awkward. Finally got this kinda-sorta decent shot and gave up for the day. :P
This is the first time I’m pulling this jacket out of the closet since last summer! Can you believe it!? It’s linen, so it’s not much help during the winter, but now that the weather is warming up, it’s a perfect cover-up.
No photos from Monday because I spent a little time getting sandy at our local dog beach, and then the rest of the day was spend in pajamas. Definitely not blog-worthy.
And for those of you who like gratuitous glamor shots of Chanel…oh yes I did!
