Another point scored for tiny petite women! I haven’t been in a Banana Republic Factory Store in a few months, so sometime after my last visit, they started carrying size petite XXS! Pant offerings have also changed, with sizing now going down to petite 00.
This is interesting in part because even regular Banana Republic stores are not carrying this size. Their petite sizing only goes down to a petite XS, with petite XXS only available online.
I didn’t try any pants while I was there, because I haven’t had luck with BR pants in over a year. But I did pick up a couple of tops, and tried on a white dress shirt that I almost bought, but decided to pass on last minute. The tops are a perfect fit, right off the rack. I was happy to find something in a print, because most of my wardrobe is solids! Boring!

Most items in the BR Factory Stores are made specially for the outlet, so they are different, but similar styles to what’s offered in BR retail stores. These items are also often of lesser quality fabrics, which helps keep the prices low. But I have found really nice garments, including trench coats and silks at the outlet stores.
BR Factory Stores can be a great resource for casual items, and less conservative work clothing. Not to mention, a great clothing resource for women on a budget, or who just want some small sized clothing without having to shop online. Catch them when they have store wide sales, and you can get items for super cheap.
