    Off the fashion topic, I have a question. How do you stay slim being short? I'm slightly shorter, being 4'10 and i feel that to be proportional i got to starve myself! My appetite is like a 7 ft man, but every move i make burns less calories and every piece of food shows up more obviously.

    I'm 4'10 as well I may be able to help…how slim do you want to go? I'm fairly slim, yet curvy for a petite and I weigh about 93lbs. My BMI is basically perfect where it is…I have never really had a problem with keeping weight off, on the contrary I try to make sure I keep it ON. Since we're same height though, I thought that may give you an idea of a healthy "slim". My only suggestion would be to make sure that you're eating right and not forgetting the veggies. Also, take up a sport or martial art. I practice Taekwondo and it has done wonders for my body leveling everything out and helping keep my weight stable. If you take care of your body it will take care of you! Hope this helps =)

    Alterations Needed

    My height and weight is completely genetic. My mom was just as short and slim as I am when she was my age. I'm practically her splitting imgage.

    Sorry I don't have any secrets to lend you. But if you're not already, I'd suggest looking into yoga and pilates. Those activities are a good way to get a workout, improve posture (for added height!) and add tone without adding bulk, which is a big plus to small framed women.

    Haha thanks guys! What you write does help, the tips and also the fact that being short does not mean being a round ball. My mom is short and slim but my dad is quite chunky so I think i got his genetics.

    Maybe one thing i have to stop is THINKING i have to eat less than everyone, which actually keeps my mind ON food.

    I'm 4'10 and right now i'm 101 lbs, but it is taking a LOT of effort- sometimes I'm as much as 115 which is way too much for my frame. I know this isn't a weight loss site (but the people on those sites have more length to work with) so thank you for the response!
